| Description | This course equips students with a variety of knowledge related to scientific methods and what is needed to prepare research proposals, conduct research, and compile survey-type research reports in the field of chemistry education. Starting with an introduction to the basics of survey research, students will be directed to measurement levels and data types, preparing questionnaires as one of the main instruments, checking validity and reliability, selecting representative samples, and appropriate data processing and analysis techniques for survey research. At the end of the course, students are expected to be able to apply knowledge about survey research in designing survey research proposals |
