| Description | In this course, students will be given knowledge about the physical and chemical properties of matter and apply the laws of thermodynamics to explain the physical properties, chemical properties and changes of the material. In addition, students are expected to achieve competency in understanding and analyzing the concept of reactions and their dynamics. The subjects that will be studied in this course include atomic structure and periodic properties of elements, intramolecular and intermolecular chemical bonds, basic laws in chemical calculations and thermodynamics of the state of matter, reaction kinetics, physical properties of solutions, equilibrium in chemical reactions, concepts acids and bases, as well as redox concepts in electrochemical cells. |
