The 13th International Conference of the Indonesian Chemical Society (ICICS) 2025, held in conjunction with The 20th Joint Conference on Chemistry (JCC) 2025, took place in Semarang on September 18, 2025. This conference served as a platform for collaboration and the exchange of ideas through innovation and the latest research in the field of chemistry. Researchers and academics came together to contribute to the advancement of science and chemical education both in Indonesia and globally.

Septy Nur Fadhilah, a student of the Chemistry Education Program at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, participated as one of the presenters with her research entitled “The HOTS-Characteristic Diagnostic Tests Using the System Thinking Approach to Detect Acid-Base Misconceptions.” This study represents a significant contribution to the development of more critical and systematic assessment methods in chemistry learning.
